We have had our Dyson hair dryer for 4 years now. My wife and I both use it daily and we take it with us on our travels.

There have been virtually no issues with the performance of this piece of hair styling necessity. Temp is always spot on and air speed is perfect. Controls are easy to manipulate and the weight of the unit is well centered.

If there is any downside to this piece of hair styling equipment may be its weight. It is a bit heavier than most conventional personal hair dryers but its performance makes up for that bit of extra weight.

We inadvertently left our dryer at home while taking a 6 week trip away from home. Once discovered, we immediately ordered a new Dyson hair dryer to be delivered at our destination. We like it enough to have the confidence to order another unit even though our original is still working well.

We have one waiting for us on the shelf to replace our older model when it finally fails. My understanding is that the chips are what typically goes out on them. Like I said previously, our four year old model is still kicking butt.
