· 11 months agoOver rated product
I bought this product due to good review online. However, this product was over rated. It’s hand held bit too heavy to be hand-held when you iron hanging items. So I have to lay flat shirt/clothing on iron board. 2nd con: it’s difficult to open water compartment. Instruction is not clear. 3rd: I didn’t know it needed to use distilled water. Didn’t work well with very wrinkle clothing.
4th: I couldn’t register online at conair website, it didn’t take the model number. I had to call customer service and they told me it’s because this model was Costco model number. It should tell us to call to register because we couldn’t register at conair website.Recommends this product -

· a year agoGood Steamer! Works Well
I bought this steamer to some shipping wrinkles out a tapestry we recently acquired. It worked fine. Wrinkles all gone.
Quick Review Points.
Positives
1. Gets hot quickly.
2. Generous amount of steam.
3. Handheld, so you can use it anywhere you can get to with power.
4. Well built.
5. Appearance is pleasing.Negatives
1. Cord only 7ft. (you will need an extension cord if receptacles are not close).
2. Removal of water chamber to fill difficult. You should have a strong grip.
3. Fill hole awkwardly placed and small. You will need a small funnel.
4. A little on the heavy side for overhead work.Overall, I am pleased. The positives out weigh the negatives. My tapestry is wrinkle free 🙂

· 2 years agoConnair Steamer
It’s the best appliance I ever bought. I can never put my iron on the right setting I’ve burned silk polyester and even on the strongest setting couldn’t get the wrinkles out of linen. This steamer is the answer for everything that went wrong with my iron. I can’t say enough good thing about this steamer. I tried on tencel cotton and linen all worked. I just moved so my my space is limited I used my bed as ironing board, no problems, so happy with this purchase, love it!

· 2 years agoLeaks water out of the steam holes
I bought this right after Thanksgiving when it was on sale. It worked fine for a few weeks. It now leaks and spits water out of the steam head leaving my garments water streaked. I have only used distilled water in the water tank unit so mineral buildup should not be an issue. I have not seen any other reviews mentioning this problem so perhaps this is a defective unit. I will return this since it’s pretty much useless now.

· 2 years agoEXCELLENT STEAMER!!!
I bought one for each of my grown children – you know the kind of people who don’t EVER want to own an iron but sometimes you actually need one. Both report that the steam on this thing is so good they seldom ever have to use the plate to iron something unless it’s a collar on a dress shirt. The original steamers were wonderful, but the iron plate gives it that extra something that makes it worth a little more money.

· a year agoSpits out water
My mom gave this Conair steamer as a Christmas gift. You must use distilled water and I did. It worked great the first two times I used it. Then, it made this loud clicking noise and spits out water everywhere. I absolutely would not recommend it! She bought it online from Costco so luckily I can return it.
